Thursday July 25, 2013 Janelle and I made a choice... We attended the One Direction concert, thereby making all the jr. high age girls we work with jealous. We decided that night that One Direction cannot be an official boy band because they do not have synchronized choreography. we had a good time and were pleasantly surprised that those boys have real talent.
We left the concert before the last song of the encore to avoid the crowds. As we made our way around the from of the Maverik Center we noticed that the steps leading to the building were lined with people staring up at the building. We found that odd. As we walked along the sidewalk we noticed that the sidewalk was lined with people. It took us a moment to realize that those people were parents waiting to pick up their children who had been at the concert. It made us laugh a lot. We quickly made our way to the car and left.
I am grateful for my friendship with my concert BFF, Janelle, and for the many adventures we have together.
