Elder Family Fun

Travis and Annaka and their cute family are in town! Friday night I got to go to Leif and Christy's to visit and I loved every minute. The Elder boys, their wives, and their kids are some of my favorite people. I am so grateful that they have allowed me to remain a part of their family. I see Tyler in his brothers so very much and it makes my heart ache, but the relationships that I have with his family have been so comforting to me and I will treasure them for eternity.

Tae and Hyrum. The last time I saw Tae he was only about 6 months old. Now he's nearly 2 and walking and talking! They grow up too fast. And I love Hyrum because he is so welcoming. He doesn't hesitate at all when I'm there. I usually get at least one cuddle from him every time I visit. Christy refers to me as "Aunt Sarah" and nothing makes me happier!

Isaac is going into Kindergarten this year! He is getting so tall. He's shy, but I was able to get him to open up. I love his cute little smile.

And here's my cute little Anya. Talk about growing up too fast! She's getting ready to start 5th grade. She's a sweetheart and we had so much fun visiting. Apparently she's a girl after my own heart, she loves the mall!

The little boys had fun with Christy chasing bubbles.

Eli, Anya, and Isaac (and their DVD player with Shrek playing...) I had been there for nearly an hour and still hadn't seen Eli. Travis told me she was downstairs so I ran down there and jumped on top of her. It made my heart happy to see how excited she was to see me! She wrapped her arms around my neck and wouldn't let go and just kept saying, "Sarah's here!" She's my little buddy. When I met Eli for the first time she was only 2, now she's going into 3rd grade. I love this little girl so much because she isn't afraid to show and tell me how much she loves me.

Ooops! We cut off Eli's head. :)

So, we'll try again.

Eli was my teammate and helped me play Citadels.

Tae was so helpful, he held onto Annaka's gold pieces for the entire game. He didn't lose or swallow any. :)

Tae and Annaka

I let Eli play with my camera and ended up with 61 new pictures on my camera. This is just a sample of here picture taking abilities. They went to the zoo that morning and Eli got a bunch of little plastic animals that became her models.

Leif and Johnny... If you ever play card games with Johnny make sure you know all the rules regarding shuffling, cutting the deck, and dealing the cards!

Annaka

Look at that cute boy with RED hair!
It was a very fun night and I am so grateful that I got to spend time with Travis, Annaka, Anya, Eli, Isaac, and Tae. I miss them and Oregon is so far away!
