I know I've said before that I have the most amazingly awesome friends EVER! This is proof...
I got a phone call Monday evening from Michele wanting to know what I was doing Thursday night. I was considering plans, but I hadn't made any for sure, why? Michele and Tami got Kandus and I tickets to see Daughtry at the E-Center. Now, to fully understand the awesomeness of this situation you need to realize that Tami and Michele are huge Daughtry fans and chose to give us the only 2 tickets they had as early birthday presents. If you know them hug them for me please.
I was a little hesitant about going to the concert because the only Daughtry music I know is what has been played on the radio. But, my hesitation was foolish...

Cavo was the opening act. I had never heard of Cavo before, let alone heard their music. It was good. My first taste of a rock concert was great. I will be adding Cavo to my iPod soon.

We survived Cavo, next up... LIFEHOUSE!

Best moment EVER! During one of his songs Jason Wade jumped off the stage, walked through the floor seats, climbed the stairs to the section Kandus and I were sitting in, and stopped at the end of our row. I... I... I... oh my! I pretty much forgot how to work my camera. But, I got a picture of THE TOP OF HIS HEAD!!! He was only like 5 feet away from me! So the bleached blonde head in the middle of the picture belongs to Jason Wade! This will pretty much be the background on my work computer for awhile.

Then it was time for Daughtry!

There was a guy sitting in front of us who polished off 4 beers rather quickly, thereby supplying entertainment for the evening. His dancing was... like a drunk guy! Even when the rest of us were sitting down he was still standing waving his behind in the face of the couple behind him. He managed to get right in front of several of my pictures.

Blasted Drunk Guy's cup!

For the first song of the encore (they made us wait like 10 minutes after they left the stage) Daughtry brought Jason Wade back on stage. My giddiness level increased exponentially at that point!

Kandus and I sitting in the car waiting and waiting and waiting to get out of the parking lot. I was totally wired! I pretty much have to survive tomorrow on 4 hours of sleep, but it is TOTALLY worth it!
AMAZING night! I loved every second of it! It was loud and screamy and I would go again tonight if I could!
