Simple Pleasures...

I L-O-V-E love yarn! When I've had a particularly bad day I like to find a craft store and just stand in the yarn aisle for a little while. It just makes me feel better. Because I have so much yarn, and I've moved so much over the last couple years, I got creative with my yarn storage. I got empty paper boxes from work, turned them on their sides and tucked my yarn in them. That way all my yarn is put away, but I can still see what I've got at a glance. My yarn had begun to outgrow my storage space, and to be honest, it looked sloppy. The boxes wouldn't stay stacked straight and I felt like it was always a mess in our office, even though the yarn was tucked away.
While I was at a craft store a few days ago I saw a huge wood cabinet that they were just bringing out to start putting their yarn in. It was beautiful and I instantly began coveting this cabinet. My mom quickly brought me back to earth and informed me that something like that would be rather expensive, so she started brainstorming. I found some wire baskets the next day that I was able to put together the way I wanted and they are perfect!

BEFORE...

AFTER!!! Doesn't it look nice?! I feel like I have my very own yarn store! (And look how much more room I have to buy new yarn...)
