September 24-25 Logan with the Girls

Friday and Saturday I got to spend time with some of my favorite people in Logan at Erin's family's cabin. It was BEAUTIFUL weather, and we had so much fun! It was so nice to get away and just relax. We left Salt Lake about 1:30 and met up in Brigham City (somehow Lead Foot Kristy only beat us by a few minutes. I figured she and Heather would have to wait for a long time.) at Maddox for lunch. Then it was on to Logan.

As soon as we got to the cabin we set up the mattress swing. What could be more fun than a queen size mattress swing? Nothing!

This really did keep us entertained for quite a long time. That is, until all our food got a little unsettled...
Amber, Kristy, Heather, and me. Erin was our photographer and swing pusher.

When we got done with the swing we decided (despite the upset tummies) that we definitely needed some ice cream. Ice cream fixes everything. We drove down to Utah State University, found the creamery, thoroughly enjoyed yummy ice cream, and then decided we needed a walk. As we wandered around campus we came across a group of boys who had set up their own tight rope. Heather was drawn to them, and the rest of us followed. Of course Heather had to try...

... and then she needed Amber's help. We spent probably 30 minutes with these random boys. We learned some valuable information, for example: Freshmen are the only students who live in the dorms. Anyone older than that who has ANY self-respect does not live in the dorms. Therefore, only one of these guys lived in the dorms. Don't insult them by asking, they get a little defensive.
After our tight-rope walking experience we enjoyed a lovely evening of shopping and watching movies. Saturday we slept in, made a delicious breakfast, watched another movie, played on the swing some more, and then headed home. It was a fabulous weekend! Thanks Erin!
