Fabulous Las Vegas!

I was probably one of the only people who could say they had never been to Vegas before. I no longer can say that. :) That amazing guy from the previous post is Travis. He and I have been dating for just over 2 months. He's a football player (I know, I know... Sarah White is dating a football player?! It still shocks me too.) and was invited to play in a flag football tournament in Las Vegas this past weekend. For some reason he really likes me so he invited me to tag along. I got to go as the supportive girlfriend. Don't be fooled, I haven't changed, I still know almost nothing about any sort of sport, but I'm good at being supportive.

Travis and I drove down Friday night. We stayed with Ryan and Rhianna, who are great and I'm glad I got to know them better. The boys played the first game Saturday at 11:20, which they won. Then they had an hour break and then a double header. They lost both of those games. The weather was absolutely perfect and I came out of 6 hours of football with a fantastic sunburn that will look like a lovely tan in about 2 more days. After the games the boys washed off the football stink and we went to The Rio buffet for dinner. I'm not a good buffet person because I never eat enough to make it worth the money...

Sunday they started tournament play. They played at 11:20 again and lost their game, so that freed up our afternoon. We spent the afternoon just wandering on the strip and then decided to head home about 5:00.

I had a fantastic weekend. It was fun to get away, and even more fun to spend that much time with Travis.
