So, April has turned into the month to catch up with good friends. Kandus, Jeanna, and I have been friends since our junior year of high school. That's a long time! We try to keep in touch, but life gets in the way and we don't see each other often anymore. That changed in the last 2 weeks.
Friday April 15th we got together to celebrate Kandus' birthday early since her boyfriend, Nik, was going to be in the MTC on her birthday. We had a lovely evening at Red Lobster and then visiting at the Draney's, our favorite hang-out.
April 17th was Nik's farewell. Jeanna and I went as comic relief. Everyone else was making Kandus cry so we decided to do the opposite and make her laugh. We certainly had a good time trying.
I'm pretty lucky to have such good friends. I'm very blessed to still have them in my life and have them as my best friends.
