Wednesday March 5, 2014 was our annual Reality Town for our 8th graders. It's always a ton of work, but so much fun! It only works because our Comprehensive Guidance Assistant, Tina, is a ROCK STAR!!! I seriously don't know what we would do without her. This year was amazing and we had more volunteers than we needed. The kids seemed to enjoy it, and the counseling center was super glad to have it come to an end.
Valley Jr. High's counseling team is the best in Granite School District... Just sayin'!
By the time the day is half over we are completely spent, and things get a little loopy. We learned this year that I fit comfortably in a garbage bag. These are important things to know I guess.
There are days when I hate my job and never want to go back, and then there are days when I love my job and Reality Town is always one of those days. I am so grateful for the people I work with and for the friendships we have built. I am a very blessed individual!
