The Befores....

Last Summer I played. This Summer I'm a home owner with projects to finish (I hate projects! I just want everything to be done right now!). So, as a teaser here a some before pictures....

Yes, these lamps are quite simply awesome. I just didn't think I could handle all that much awesome in my house so I decided to change them.... Spray paint here I come!

So, the previous owners had a TV mounted on the living room wall. They chose to paint around the wall mount and did a terrible job. My mom and I had our work cut out for us. We had to patch the big holes in the wall and then try to paint well enough to cover up the horrible brush strokes.
You can't see them very well, but there are white spots on the wall below the shelf where my mom pulled out the bolts that were there and we had to patch. (P.S. Isn't that shelf decorated super cute??? My mom did that. It's not totally complete, but I will post another picture when it is complete.)

And here's my rocking chair. It was a hand-me-down from my mom. This is with a coat of primer on it. It's going from blue to black.
