Yes, I did hate Girls' Camp. Yes, my parents did force me to go every year I was in Young Womens. Yes, I did swear I'd never go again. However, this Girls' Camp was different. Enter the beautifully amazing cabin, only 2 nights away from home, ATVs, no camp fire smell, and no drama, and some AMAZING friends and you've got the perfect girls' camp.
Once again we went to Green River to spend the weekend in Kristy's uncle's cabin. We were there Friday June 3 through Sunday June 5th. It was a fantastic, relaxing weekend that gave me the opportunity to catch up with friends I don't see as often because I moved and then got kicked out of the Holladay ward. I am blessed with amazing friends.
This motorized vehicle became known as the Reliable Ranger. We spent LOTS of time on this and loved it! We were all caked in dust by the time Saturday night rolled around.

The beautiful scenery

We took the Reliable Ranger out on a grand adventure. We fit 9 of us, yes, I said NINE on that little machine. Five of us got out at one point to explore and we climbed some really big hills.

Liz, Annalissa, Heather, and Steph coming back to pick us up.

See! I told you! 9 of us fit!

Of course part of our adventure had to include the actual Green River (which is rather brown). It was extremely full, much more full than last August, and running really fast, so we didn't dare get in. Heather, Genevieve, Suzie, and Steph

We stopped at a loading dock where a bunch of rafters were either just getting back or about to leave. Heather thought she would pretend she was with them.

Later that afternoon Lisa, Jennie, Denise, and D'Nell joined us a Girls' Camp. D'Nell wanted to explore so we loaded up the Reliable Ranger again and took off. Lisa, Amber, and D'Nell

It was really hard to be that close to the water and not get in.

I did post this awesome picture of Amber on Facebook and she will probably kill me for doing that.

We got back to the cabin, took a little nap, and then it was time to explore again. Annalissa wanted to go to the nasty chair we had passed a few times. She was the only one of the 3 of us brave enough to actually sit in it.

D'Nell L-O-V-E loved the Ranger!

The evening was full of yummy food and much to my dismay singing of camp songs and dancing. I quietly observed from the couch.

And then D'Nell brought out the glow in the dark necklaces.....
