The Adventures of Darcy...

If you ever need some good entertainment Darcy has proven to be quite the entertainer around our house. He doesn't seem to be afraid of anything, including us.On Friday Emma and I took the kitties to visit Grandma Shirley. They were crying so much in their carriers that I decided to let them out. I know, I know, I'm a softie. Lizzy found a corner and hid and continued to cry while Darcy took advantage of his freedom and explored. He soon took control of my dashboard.... His ears are laid out like that because he's got his face smooshed up against the windshield. :)

Darcy has learned a new trick. He can jump from the kitchen floor to the countertop. It's actually quite impressive. Lizzy pretends that she doesn't care, but I think she's secretly jealous.

I discovered last night that Darcy has developed a liking for Nordstrom. He literally played with that bag ALL night long!

Today when we got home from church I walked in and started pulling stuff out to start making dessert for tonight. I was talking to Lizzy who was meowing at my feet when out of the corner of my eye I noticed something moving on top of the cabinets. I look up and sure enough there's Darcy. He was just wandering around. He didn't disturb any of the decorations up there he was just hanging out. I'm pretty sure he had been asleep up there until I started making noise. I was so caught of guard that I didn't know what to do at first. After I yelled for Kandus to get down here I grabbed my phone and when I realized he wasn't coming down I took the time to run and grab my real camera. I was so impressed with this feat that I couldn't even be mad at him. Darcy just sat up there looking at us like, "What?"

He had jumped from the floor to the counter to the top of the fridge and then to the top of the cabinets. Once again I'm pretty sure Lizzy was jealous... I know I was.
