Let the summer projects continue... Onto the big project. And when I say big, I mean BIG. Re-doing a couch and chair. Somehow I convinced my mom to reupholster a couch and chair that my aunt Merrilee gave me. It's taken us nearly 2 weeks, but we're almost done. The couch is finished and we started work on the chair yesterday and there's a great chance it will be done tomorrow. 
Just because they are so cute, here are my "helpful" kitties. Darcy spent some time in the dust catcher and thought it was a game when we were trying to get him out.
And my pretty princess, Lizzy, loves textures of all kinds, especially soft things. She pulled the batting from that crate to use it as a bed. After I put it back I then found her in the crate.
This is what we started with (after we took the cushions off).

The finished product. Seriously! I am absolutely in love with my new couch!
