It Is Done. Now Entering Retirement

And here's my new living room. I could have sworn I took before pictures, but I sure can't find them. Oops. Oh well.

My mom and I created a Top Ten List of Things We Learned During Our Re-Upholstery Projects:

10. Hot glue is not for fingers.

9. It always takes more than you think it will-- time, money, and materials.

8. It wasn't our fault the staple gun broke the first day, it was defective.

7. We're really glad to have it done.

6. Some steps need 3 people, not just 2.

5. The cats are not as helpful as they think they are.

4. If all else fails, use the glue gun!

3. That's why furniture costs so much!!!

2. The answer is, "No! You can't afford us."

1. No one will have furniture as cute as mine.
