Saturday July 9, 2011 I was able to attend the 5 year reunion for the Joseph Smith Academy. I can't believe it's been more than 5 years since I got home from Nauvoo. Life sure has changed a lot since Nauvoo and these last 5 years have been the hardest of my entire life. But, I can look back on the 4 months I spent in Nauvoo and realize that short moment was one of the happiest of my life. I am so blessed for the opportunity I had to participate in that program and become lifelong friends with so many wonderful people.
Ben Park organized this gathering and Cami Moore Moss hosted it at her house in Riverton. Of the 85 who were in Nauvoo only about 20 of us were able to attend, but it was so much fun to reminisce and laugh at stories that only seem to be funny to us. My dear friends Meagan, Tara, Shelby, and Ashley were greatly missed. It was fun for me to be able to take Travis with me and share that piece of my life with him.
Near the end of the gathering we all went outside for a group picture. I asked my helpful boyfriend to take a picture with my camera. To show just how helpful he is he captured the entire event. 6 pictures later he got the final product. Here's just a few to demonstrate the process...
The final product. It was a wonderful afternoon. Now to spend some time looking at my Nauvoo scrapbooks. :)

Oh my goodness do I miss you guys! Not only did you have to post pictures on facebook to rub it in, but on your blog, too?! Thanks a lot!!! Love you guys and miss you bad! If only the funds were a little more abundant around here after buying a house I'd be on a plane in a heartbeat to go see you guys!
