Thursday February 16, 2012 was the day after Grandma Shirley's funeral. My mom and I both had taken the day off work and decided to go spend the afternoon with Grandpa. Bruce and Esther had the same idea and we all got to Grandpa's about the same time. Bruce took us all to lunch and then we made a visit to the cemetery to visit Grandma. There were so many flowers sent by many of the people who love Grandma and many of them were taken to decorate her grave. It was a beautiful site. I am so grateful for the kindness of those who sent flowers. My Grandma deserves the most beautiful things.
Grandma is next to baby Bart. She is now able to care for and raise him.
I am grateful for that quiet time I was able to stand with my arm around Grandpa. He truly is my favorite person! I love my grandparents so much and am so blessed to know them so well. I pray that Heavenly Father will watch over and comfort Grandpa. I am grateful for the knowledge I have that I will see Grandma again.
