Monday February 11, 2013 Travis and I made an attempt at a Family Home Evening activity. The day before we had celebrated the 1 year anniversary of Grandma Shirley's passing and I had been reminded of a tradition we had growing up. Every year before Valentine's Day we would go to Grandma and Grandpa Grover's house and frost a gazillion sugar cookies. It had been years since we had done this, and I was missing Grandma, so I decided it was time to bring the tradition back. Monday night Travis and I frosted our own sugar cookies. I didn't make as many as Grandpa used to make, but we had fun frosting the few we had.

These were my favorites, but they made Travis roll his eyes. Apparently he's still convinced I "ruined" his proposal.
