To celebrate the 4th of July a group of us went to the Salt Lake Bees game. To be completely honest I'm not a huge fan of baseball. I was mostly just looking forward to the company and the fireworks after the game. It was a fun night, although it turned out to be a very late night!

I'm not quite sure the reasoning behind Denver's face...

I was quite proud of that photography!

Tami and I are kindred spirits... just at the game for the fireworks. She brought her UNO cards (My First UNO cards to be exact) and we played an exciting game of Spaz. I had never played that game before, but we all certainly looked like spazzes as we played it. Of course I won. :)

This is at the top of the 11th inning, we all got a little antsy. Denver: Have you ever wondered what I look like in the ocean? Um, no.

I feel your pain Tami...

Bottom of the 11th and still tied! Oh bother! At this point I was just cheering for ANYONE to score a run. I didn't care who won. After the 12th inning Tacoma came out on top, 7 to 5. Thank goodness!

Then onto the reason we were there, the fireworks. The fireworks were really awesome! I felt overwhelmed and almost to tears as I listened to the patriotic music. I really am grateful and proud to be an American. I am so blessed to live in a country where I am free to worship as I please. I am thankful to Heavenly Father for all of my many blessings!
