Look what we found today! This is the first sunshine we've seen in Pacific Beach since we got here Monday. What a welcome sight! Once we realized it was for real we all ran to our bedrooms, threw on our swimming suits and loaded the vans.

We spent most of the day on the beach reading books, taking little naps, going for walks, and playing in the water. I was chilly all day, but my dad was thrilled just to have the sun shining. He and Everett out playing in the water.We had a great day. Pacific Beach is a beautiful community and the house we are staying in is amazing! We've had a great trip with only the one "adventure" and the rest of our days were spent playing and enjoying our time with Carol and Everett. A great way to spend some of our last weeks of the summer.
