Just when I was beginning to think that the people around me valued me for what I can do and for the person I am inside, I am reminded that they still can't see past my physical imperfections. Someday that will change... I hope.

Believe me, I know all about people not being able to look past physical imperfections. I've dealt with that my whole life. Even if other people never change (and some of them won't), you can just tell them to go suck it because you know who you are and you're not going to change just because someone doesn't like it. Just stay your awesomely wonderful self and you'll be fine.
